Green Power Sweden now combines wind, solar, and energy storage
On May 14, 2025, the Swedish Wind Energy Association and the Network for Solar Parks formed Green Power Sweden, the industry organization for large-scale wind power, solar power, and energy storage. Large-scale renewable energy sources—together with energy storage and flexibility—provide the best conditions for Sweden to rapidly implement electrification and climate change, with competitive electricity prices for industry and households.
